What's the difference between an access panel, access hatch, and access door?
The terms are largely interchangeable in the UK trade — all refer to a removable panel that provides access to concealed services behind a wall or ceiling. "Access door" is more commonly used for larger or hinged units, while "access panel" and "access hatch" typically describe smaller, removable panels.

Are your access doors fire-rated?
Only our Fire Rated Access Panels are fire-rated, designed specifically for use in fire-rated walls and ceilings where compliance is required. Our other ranges — metal, plasterboard, tape-in, and plastic — are not fire-rated and are intended for general domestic and light commercial use where fire compliance isn't a requirement.
